Update For Canada and Asia Fulfillment
about 4 years ago – Thu, Feb 06, 2020 at 02:31:31 PM

Canada Fulfillment

We had a lot shipment to the fulfillment center in Canada, but it has just been recovered as of yesterday and packages are being packed and shipped now. I apologize for the delay and lack of communication here, I actually wasn't aware of the issue until several days ago and I thought shipments were being sent. Everyone should get a tracking email within the next few days.

Asia Fulfillment

Our fulfillment partner VFI has had to wait to return to work due to Chinese New Year and the lockdown, but I've been informed all packages to Asia will begin shipping on the 9th of Feb. This delay was not expected and I apologize for the slow deliveries, unfortunately it has been out of my hands and sending the packages from another continent would take even longer. We can expect tracking and deliveries within the next 1-2 weeks for Asia, thanks for your understanding.

If you have any other concerns, comments, or need replacement parts feel free to email me at [email protected]! Have a great day :)

Fulfilling!
over 4 years ago – Sun, Jan 19, 2020 at 11:54:38 PM

The fulfillment is upon us, some of us can even smell it!

Currently around 50% of packages have been sent out, with the other half on the way this coming week. I've done my best to have all deliveries sent simultaneously, but shipping is never a perfect matter, and I appreciate your patience as games are delivered.

Here's the news I have from each of the fulfillment centers:

US - Around 50% of packages have been sent, with the rest sending out around Monday.

EU - Nearly all packages have been sent, and the rest are finishing up this coming week.

CA - Packages are currently being packed and prepared for shipping this week.

AU/NZ - Nearly all packages have been sent this week, and a handful are just waiting for the washi cats shipment to arrive from Japan to finish fulfillment. It's estimated these will be ready before the end of the week.

Asia - VFI is currently packing all shipments and will send them this coming week.

NOTE ON PINS

If you ordered a pin(s), it will be sent separately. I was not able to get the inventory for the pins to fulfillment centers in time, so they will have to be sent on their own. Sorry for the delay, but I won't charge anything extra for shipping.

If you have any other questions feel free to email me or the shipping company in your region to resolve delivery issues. Thanks everyone for another awesome campaign! I can't wait to hear what you all think of the games :)

Merry Fulfillment Holidays Timelines Tokyo Series Update!
over 4 years ago – Sat, Dec 21, 2019 at 12:03:35 AM

Hello friends with good taste who love Japan, we have an update! I have been doing everything possible to get our games delivered before Christmas, but due to some slight delays in the ocean voyages and fulfillment centers closing for Christmas, we are now looking at a global delivery in early January.

From the latest information from OTX, who is our freight forwarding partner, this is when games should arrive at fulfillment centers. After that they will be packed and sent out to you:

US: The games are docked and on route via train, with an estimated delivery of Dec 28th.

UK: Estimated delivery to Spiral Galaxy Dec 30th.

Asia: Games have just arrived, and should ship shortly. Shipments in Asia should arrive in early January as well due to slightly longer shipping times. Note for Japan based backers, I had stated in my last update that I would be fulfilling myself from Tokyo, however I have to apologize as I was not able to get the games out before returning home for Christmas. The good news is, everything will be able to ship together now instead of having to ship some of the items separately such as the furoshiki and Washi Cats. Thank you for your understanding.

Everywhere else: Games will ship within the next two weeks and should arrive between early Jan and Feb.

In short, all games should arrive roughly within the first two weeks of January. Thank you all for your patience, I promise the wait will be worth it! If you have any questions on delivery feel free to send me an email at [email protected].

Does anyone know what Christmas is like in Japan? There are some interesting unofficial "traditions". One of the more popular ones is to go eat KFC... Strange! Who else knows of some?

Tokyo Game Market Pickup, Tsukiji Market External Markets Stretch Goal.
over 4 years ago – Fri, Nov 22, 2019 at 12:59:29 PM

Hello from Tokyo!

(me in a Sumikkogurashi elevator...)

I have arrived just yesterday to Japan, and I am ready for Tokyo Game Market tomorrow! If you'll be attending, please come by the booth I am sharing with Jugame Studio at I05.

All games are currently at sea and getting close to fulfillment centers. In Japan games have arrived already, and at Tokyo Game Market only I will be offering KS backers the opportunity to pick up their games in person. If you wish to pick up your games tomorrow or Sunday, you simply need to show up with some form of ID that matches your shipping name. I have a very small stock of games to sell as well, however backers will have first priority to pickup. I will then be fulfilling all Japanese backers games myself once the convention is over, and I will not sell anything after this until every backer worldwide has their games.

TOKYO TSUKIJI MARKET EXTERNAL STRETCH GOAL MARKETS

It has just come to my attention that the in depth ruling for the two external markets that were added as stretch goals for Tsukiji Market did not get their rules text into the rulebook. This is quite annoying and I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this causes, however I will add the ruling here and on my website as well:

At the Auction market, the player who uses this market pays 1 action to enter, and then holds as many auctions as they wish one at a time. In order to hold an auction, they must first figure out what the total resource value of their fish is as a group. They will pay the fee shown at the bottom (for 2+ the fee is 200 yen) to the bank. All other players then have one opportunity in clockwise order to say what they would pay for that group of resources. The selling player must take the highest bid, which is also matched by the bank. For example, if the highest bid is 300 yen, the bank would also pay 300 yen, for a total of 600 yen minus the 200 yen fee for using the auction.

At the Barter market, the player who uses this market pays 1 action to enter, and then holds a single auction. They will place all resources they wish to sell in the white space as a group, and then each player in clockwise order has a single chance to state what they would pay for those resources. The seller can then decline all offers given, or accept one in exchange for the resources.

Thank you all for your understanding of these rules not making it in the rulebook, I will host the rules on my website shortly. If you have any questions feel free to ask about them!

That's all for now, we are on the way to delivery! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
